Farm movie enthusiasts will have to wait a tad longer to enjoy their cinematic experience under the stars, with a side of countryside ambiance. Organizers of the "Movie Night on the Farm" event at Brooklyn Park have announced a schedule shake-up, citing impending bad weather as the culprit. The original event, slated for August 29, was set to feature the charming pig-centric flick "Babe," but has been pushed to early October, as per the City of Brooklyn Park.
The decision to reschedule was not made lightly, as event planners always look to find a way to ensure that attendees get to comfortably sip their hot cocoa without having to worry about getting soaked. However, sometimes you just have to go ahead and make the call for safety's sake. According to the city's official announcement, "Due to forecasted rain and storms, we have decided to reschedule our movie night."
The rescheduled date is set for Friday, October 4. The gates will open at the family-friendly hour of 6 p.m., with the film's start projected for around 7:15 p.m., as detailed by the City of Brooklyn Park.
