
In a show of force against violent crime, the Violent Offender Task Force (VOTF) in collaboration with detectives from the Brooklyn Park, MN - Police Department, orchestrated a police operation that led to seven felony arrests. The detail, spanning a mere 3.5 hours, also saw the confiscation of three illegally possessed firearms and a significant quantity of drugs, including 383 fentanyl pills and 54 grams of methamphetamine, as per the Brooklyn Park, MN - Police Department. Remarkably, two arrests were made within the opening five minutes of the operation, evidencing law enforcement’s swift action.
The operation, which unfolded recently in Brooklyn Park, had VOTF agents witnessing illegal drug transactions. Among the arrests were 37-year-old Phillip Porter and 34-year-old Jennie Johnson, both charged with felony drug possession/sale, according to a statement released by the Brooklyn Park Police Department.
