According to Mecklenburg County News, festivities will kick off at 11 a.m. and continue until 2 p.m. this Saturday, Aug. 17, at the center's location on 430 Stitt Road.
The initiative by Mecklenburg County aims to spotlight the plethora of services offered at the resource center – from Medicaid and food assistance to free mental health counseling.
