A house fire in a west Charlotte neighborhood on Saturday afternoon resulted in the displacement of four people and a dog. The Charlotte Fire Department reported to WBTV that the blaze, which began around 1:30 p.m. on Bristol Drive, was quickly brought under control, with firefighters extinguishing the flames in 14 minutes. Fortunately, there were no injuries among civilians or first responders.
The distressed occupants are now to swiftly get assistance from the Red Cross, as noted in a separate report by WCCB Charlotte. Moreover, the cause of the fire, which originated in the laundry room of the residence, has been deemed accidental by Charlotte Fire officials.
