
Good news for local water enthusiasts and their furry friends, Collinwood Regional Park and Campground’s swimming and dog beach have once again opened their sandy expanses to the public, according to Wright County Minnesota.

The duo of beaches at this beloved Wright County locale were given the all-clear and welcomed visitors back Tuesday afternoon, following a temporary closure for an overabundance of algae in Collinwood Lake, as per Wright County Minnesota.
In their official announcement, the Wright County Parks & Recreation department stated, "The swimming beach and dog beach at Collinwood Regional Park and Campground reopened this afternoon (Tuesday, Aug. 20) after being closed last weekend due to an increased algae count in Collinwood Lake."
