
In an early morning incident on the southwest side of Columbus, a woman lost her life after being struck by a vehicle. Seanna Groce, 43, was hit by a pickup truck while walking on Norton Road, according to the Columbus Division of Police.
Reports from WBNS indicated the accident occurred just before 1 a.m. south of Bolton Field Airport Road. Groce was walking northbound on Norton in the northbound lane when she was hit by a black Toyota Tundra, which was involved in the collision.
The Toyota Tundra driver was heading north on Norton Road when the accident occurred. No information was immediately available regarding whether any charges had been filed concerning the incident or the driver's condition following the accident.
