The first bell of the 2024-2025 academic year at Comfort ISD rang in a new chapter for both students and safety officers. As the school district welcomed back its learners, a gentle reminder was issued to the public: watch out for the young pedestrians and the school buses that fill the streets.
In an effort to fully ensure the kids' safety, Comfort ISD paraded its diligent School Resource Officers (SROs) – those tasked with the vital role of safeguarding the educational environment. On their first day back, photos were snapped and shared via the Kendall County Sheriff's website, showcasing Deputies Raul Gonzales, Chris Ayala, and Tucker Webb at Comfort Elementary, Middle, and High respectively.
"Comfort ISD kicked off the 2024-2025 school year today! As our students, teachers, and staff settle into a new year of learning, we kindly remind everyone to be extra cautious around school buses, increased traffic, and students walking to and from school," highlighted the district in their online post.
Comfort ISD sent out good wishes for the year, urging all to "make it a great one." As the district steps into another academic season, it's clear they are looking to decidedly continue their tradition of excellence in education and safety. "Let's make it a great one, Comfort ISD! 🎉," the news release mentioned.
