A two-vehicle collision on T C Jester Blvd in Harris County left one driver with life-threatening injuries and disrupted the flow of traffic through the northbound lanes. The crash occurred between Ridge Hollow Drive and Morning Dew Lane in the 11771 block of T C Jester Blvd.
Emergency teams worked to quickly rescue one driver who was trapped inside their vehicle. "One driver was trapped inside their vehicle but was rescued by Fire and EMS teams," according to a Facebook post by the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable, cited by Click2Houston. The other driver, sustaining critical injuries, was rushed to a local hospital.
The Harris County precinct tasked with the investigation has yet to publicly speculate on the cause of the crash. The northbound lanes were closed as officials worked to clear the wreck and gather evidence from the tangled steel and tire marks.
Local news outlets have advised that due to the closure, drivers should seek alternative routes or expect delays. "Authorities have shut down the northbound lanes of T C Jester Blvd while they investigate the cause of the crash. Drivers are advised to avoid the area or expect delays," reported FOX 26 Houston.
