Tragedy struck Dorchester last night when a man was found with life-threatening gunshot wounds at 519 Washington Street. According to a statement from the Boston Police Department, officers arrived at approximately 9:58 PM in response to reports of a shooting. The adult male victim, whose identity has not been disclosed, was transported to a local hospital and was later pronounced dead.
The Homicide Unit is now leading an investigation into the shooting. No suspects have been named at this time, and the motive remains unclear. In an effort to gather more information, the Boston Police are urging anyone with knowledge of the incident to come forward.
