The streets of Downtown's Central Business District have been under the watchful eye of the Downtown High-Visibility Patrol, which released its enforcement numbers for the week of August 12-18. As reported by Pittsburgh official Public Safety Blotter, officers have been on their toes with various law enforcement activities, ranging from arrests to business visits.
The DPSC stats for the said week show a total of six arrests, including an adult male booked for Possession with Intent to Deliver, and another male for domestic-related robbery. Non-traffic citations counted to 14, closely followed by two parking citations, and interestingly, no vehicle tows were needed.
Meanwhile, the Traffic / K9 division focused its attention largely on parking and traffic control. Official reports outline zero arrests during this period. However, they issued 85 parking citations, revealing a sharp eye for parking violators, six traffic citations, and conducted 13 tows, affirming a firm stance on vehicle-related infractions in the area.
