Under the guidance of Chef Matt Hinckley of Hinckley Meats, Mid Drive Dive chef Leah Cordova is poised to helm the kitchen of the forthcoming restaurant. Unveiling inventive takes on classic dishes, The Neighbors aims to quickly carve out its spot by satiating the appetite for wholesome lunch and dinner choices within the East End Market. "Chef Leah will take traditional dishes like a farmer's salad or a charcuterie board and put her own unique twist on the ingredients or presentation," as detailed by Orlando Weekly.
Meanwhile, the imminent departure of the current Domu Lab occupant, Danilo's Pasta Bar, raises questions about its future whereabouts; yet, it marks an opportunity for The Neighbors to reinvigorate the space. Hoping to more closely mirror their creative cocktails, Jacob Zepf of The Neighbors told Bungalower, that they anticipate introducing a food experience that vibes with their established clientele. After some expected minor kitchen renovations, the startup plans to launch its full menu by the end of September, transitioning into regular operating hours come October or November.
