Residents of Eden Prairie looking to explore the benefits of electric vehicles and sustainable home equipment can mark their calendars for the upcoming 'Going Electric Showcase'. The event, slated for the evening of Sept. 10 at Staring Lake Park, aims to promote the use of electric vehicles (EVs), e-bikes, and electric lawn equipment, according to an announcement by the City of Eden Prairie.
The showcase, running from 4:30–6:30 p.m., will not only allow participants to thoroughly check out a variety of EVs and related equipment, but it will also provide them with an opportunity to directly engage and converse with actual owners, as per the City of Eden Prairie. Potential volunteers who are passionate about electric mobility and have their own EVs or electric equipment are encouraged to step forward to support and share their experiences during the event. This hands-on educational approach is meant to both inform and inspire residents about the versatility and practicality of electric technology.
The City of Eden Prairie is actively seeking volunteers to showcase their electric vehicles and equipment, as detailed by the City of Eden Prairie. Interested parties are encouraged to learn more and to register as volunteers by getting in touch with the city officials.
