A Fairfield man has been arrested following a hit-and-run incident in Placer County. The accident occurred early Sunday morning on Industrial Avenue, where a bicyclist sustained severe, life-threatening injuries after being hit by a vehicle. The driver fled the scene, leading to a subsequent investigation, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Assistance from multiple law enforcement agencies, including the Placer County Sheriff's Office, Lincoln Police Department, and the Roseville Police Department, was pivotal in apprehending the 28-year-old suspect, evidence from the scene—debris from a silver Nissan Versa—and a FLOCK camera image leading authorities to a Fairfield apartment complex.
