As reported by ABC13 Houston, a call came through to the Houston Police Department around 3:50 p.m. yesterday about the crash that occurred in the 15300 block of Clay Road.
The incident, which is actively being investigated, involved one vehicle that is believed to have crossed over the median before hitting another head-on. This sequence of events tragically resulted in at least one fatality, with the potential for additional injuries not yet disclosed by authorities. A witness to the accident claims to have seen one of the cars catch fire at some point after the impact. Life Flight was summoned to the scene, indicating the severity of the situation, and one death has been consequently confirmed by police.
Images from SkyEye showed the aftermath of the crash, with both vehicles demonstrating severe frontal damage due to the force of the collision.
