
The FBI has announced a $10,000 reward for information leading to the apprehension of a suspect involved in a bank robbery in Lansing, a suburb of Chicago. According to the Chicago Sun-Times, the robbery took place at the First Savings Bank of Hegewisch at approximately 10:05 a.m. last Friday. The suspect, reported to have been masked and claiming he had a gun, demanded that employees hand over money before fleeing the scene on foot.
The man remains at large and is described as being between 40 and 60 years old. He was spotted wearing a dark-colored baseball hat, black sunglasses, a medical face mask, along with a purple and green plaid button-up short-sleeved shirt over a black undershirt. His attire also included dark-colored cargo pants and shoes, and he was seen carrying a blue Walmart shopping bag. The suspect was also noted for wearing a watch on his right wrist. The Fox 32 Chicago mentions that the suspect is a white male with a medium build.
The FBI has stressed the seriousness of this bank robbery and the importance of public assistance in capturing the suspect. Officials have confirmed that no one was injured during the incident.
