The FBI has intensified its search for a suspect tied to two recent bank incidents in Chicago— one a successful heist and the other, an attempted robbery. According to the Chicago Sun-Times, on Friday, around 5 p.m., a man entered the Huntington Bank in the Dunning neighborhood and failed to secure any money. The following day, in a connected event, the same individual reportedly succeeded in purloining an undisclosed sum from Associated Bank in Rogers Park around 11 a.m.

Details provided by FOX 32 Chicago outline a suspect described as a white male, with a height range between five-foot-nine to six-feet, and a thin build. Witnesses note the individual wore distinct attire during both incidents, including red-checkered and khaki or yellow button-down shirts and a blue bucket or fishing hat accessorized with black sunglasses and dark denim. After both events, he reportedly fled on foot. In the August 2nd incident, at the Huntington Bank, it was reported that the man demanded money while suggesting he was armed with a weapon, yet no weapon was displayed. No injuries were reported during these incidents.

The FBI is urging anyone who might have relevant information to come forward. Tips can be shared through the agency's hotline at (312) 421-6700 or submitted online via tips.fbi.gov, as per FOX 32 Chicago
