The Frisco Heritage Museum is taking a brief pause from sharing its stories and treasures with the public. On Tuesday, August 27, the museum will be closed for maintenance, as the team works diligently behind closed doors to enhance and revamp the spaces that house the unity of past narratives.
The closure is a mere blink in the museum's calendar, one day to hold patience, for they are set to reopen the following day, Wednesday, August 28, returning to their regular hours from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., according to the City of Frisco. Not only will normalcy be restored but with it comes a promise of refreshed vibrancy, one can assume.
Further excitement is gearing up as on Thursday, August 29, from 4-6 p.m., the museum invites one and all to a special reception that stands to inaugurate its newest exhibit titled "Play on the Prairie!" It's a chance to get firsthand glimpses and engage with the museum's latest endeavor in celebrating the area's rich history and perhaps, to partake in a throwback to Frisco's prairie days, albeit through the informed perspective of the present.
