Garland residents are being called to action for the eighth annual Tri-City Cleanup effort aimed at preserving local waterways, with opportunities for volunteers to select their preferred spots for participation. According to the City of Garland, the environmental initiative is scheduled for Saturday, October 5, from 9 a.m. to noon, and will commence at the Hella Shrine Events Center located at 2121 Rowlett Road.
