Authorities in Glen Burnie made a significant arrest on August 15 after locating a stolen vehicle that contained narcotics. According to the Anne Arundel County Police Department's press release, the incident occurred in the afternoon when officers found a stolen Hyundai Kona parked on Ritchie Highway. A male and a female suspect were subsequently arrested in connection with the vehicle.
Upon inspection of the vehicle, police witnessed what appeared to be controlled dangerous substances (CDS) readily visible. This discovery led to further investigation. The police managed to quickly detain both suspects who were present at the scene. The arrested individuals were identified as Michael Christopher Hall Jr., a 35-year-old male from Glen Burnie, and Kimberly Ann Simons, a 37-year-old female also from Glen Burnie.
The seized substances were reportedly significant quantities of narcotics – approximately 6.95 grams of suspected Heroin and around 2.13 grams of suspected Cocaine. Additionally, officers seized $842 in cash. The presence of such substances and cash typically indicates an involvement in the narcotics trade, though these initial findings are yet to be proven in a court of law. The suspects are currently facing charges for their involvement with the stolen auto and the narcotics found within.
