Deputies from Harris County Constable Mark Herman's office quickly apprehended a man yesterday after responding to a call about a suspicious person peeking into vehicles on Misty Pines Drive. The individual, identified as Dylan Walker, attempted to escape on foot but was soon caught by the officers. His encounter with law enforcement didn't end with a mere foot chase; Walker had more to account for, as mentioned by Constable Mark Herman's Office's Facebook post.
An investigation unearthed the fact that Walker was not just a random prowler but had open felony warrants for Burglary of a Habitation and a history of probation violations for similar offenses, including Unlawful Carrying a Weapon. The legal net had been cast, and Walker was to eventually find himself ensnared.
"Dylan Walker was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for the open warrants and additional charge of Evading. His total bond for the probation violations was set at $80,000.00 out of the 482nd District Court and he is awaiting bond for the additional charges," according to the statement obtained by Constable Herman's Facebook post.
