
In Harris County, a routine call spiraled into a narcotics bust when a Constable's office deputy and his four-legged partner came upon a suspicious individual on Atascocita Road, yesterday.
According to a post by Constable Mark Herman's Office, the suspect, identified as Curtis Schilling, was found in possession of methamphetamine after the narcotics K9, "Rambo Tom Ramsey," signaled illegal substances in his bag, which led to a probable cause search and see the interplay between man and law-enforcement dog resulted not just in the discovery of drugs but an arrest.
Deputy Montalvo and "Rambo Tom Ramsey," the police dog, responded to the scene, and Schilling was arrested following the canine's alert. "Curtis Schilling was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance. His bond and court information have not been set at this time," Constable Mark Herman's office detailed in a Facebook post.
