A tragic loss resonated through Harrison Township once again when a vehicle struck an 11-year-old girl, ending her life. The incident occurred on Tuesday evening, while she rode her bicycle along Kuntz Street. Reported by WPXI, emergency crews arrived at approximately 7:20 p.m. but sadly, despite their efforts, she was pronounced dead at the scene. The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's office later identified the girl as Rosanne Alexis Bonnoni.
As detectives from the Allegheny County police department are conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident, little information has been made available about the driver, who has not been publicly identified nor has it been made known whether charges are being considered.
