
A two-vehicle collision in Henderson yesterday evening resulted in three people being taken to the hospital and one driver arrested for DUI, News 3 LV reports. The crash, involving Aaron Fierro, 37, occurred just before 8 p.m. at the intersection of Saint Rose Parkway and Coronado Center.
The Henderson Police Department stated that among the three hospitalized adults, one suffered serious injuries. Fierro, accused of being under the influence at the time of the crash, was released from medical care and consequently placed under arrest, he is now facing a DUI charge. Speed and impairment were pinpointed as factors leading to the accident, 8 News Now has reported.
As a result of the ongoing investigation, the eastbound Saint Rose Parkway remained closed for around four hours following the incident. The road was later reopened, as confirmed by local authorities.
Fierro was booked into the Henderson Detention Center, where he is confronted with the consequences of his actions, specifically, one count of DUI. Local residents and daily commuters were affected by the accident, with alternative routes being suggested during the closure period.
