According to FOX 26 Houston, the victim was found in a ditch near the bar around 1:40 a.m. and was promptly taken to the hospital where he remains in critical condition, law enforcement officials confirmed their presence at the crime scene shortly after 1 a.m. and it was then when they arrested a male suspect who had returned to the bar along with a female companion.

The male suspect faces charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, while the woman with him faces retaliation charges for allegedly threatening deputies on the scene, as Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman informed the public. Unfortunately, the condition of the victim, whose identity remains unreleased along with that of the suspects, was still not known as of the early morning hours today.

The Harris County authorities are currently leading an investigation to untangle the events that led to this vicious attack; meanwhile, Herman declared that both suspects are in custody in connection to the violent incident.
