
An altercation at a Houston auto repair shop culminated in tragedy after a dispute between two men led to a fatal shooting last night, according to the Houston Police Department. The incident occurred in the 2200 block of Eastex Freeway in the Greater Fifth Ward area, where officers found a man shot multiple times; he was pronounced dead at the scene just before 6 p.m., as reported by ABC13.
HPD Lt. Lary Crowson confirmed that a second man arrived at the scene after the shooting and surrendered himself to the authorities, declaring his involvement in the dispute as the reason for the confrontation; investigators are currently speaking with witnesses to piece together the events that unfolded during the fatal argument, one of the men is believed to be an employee of the auto shop and the reason for their dispute remains unclear.
