
Houston police have launched an investigation into the death of a 66-year-old man whose body was discovered following a fire at a Linda Vista Road property early this morning. According to City of Houston News, the fire was reported extinguished around 5 a.m., and the identity, as well as the cause of death of the individual, awaits confirmation from the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives A. Graf II and E. Torres II are at the helm of the ongoing investigation, first responders arrived following a call for assistance from firefighting units, they found the body inside a burned camper on the residential plot. The homeowner, who informed police that the deceased was a friend staying in the camper on his property, claimed ignorance regarding the fire's origin.
