Houston Police Investigate Fatal Stabbing at Montrose Boulevard, Suspect at Large

Police in Houston are conducting an inquiry into a fatal stabbing that took place over the weekend. The incident occurred at approximately 3:10 p.m. on Saturday at 4720 Montrose Boulevard. A 34-year-old man, whose name has not yet been confirmed by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences, was found with multiple stab wounds and later succumbed to his injuries at Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center, according to a statement obtained by the City of Houston News.

The Houston Police Department's Homicide Division Detectives H. Martinez and, S. Chettry are leading the investigation. When HPD patrol officers arrived at the scene in response to a call, they found the victim unresponsive near a business entrance. Houston Fire Department paramedics were dispatched to assist, but the victim was declared dead at the hospital.

Witnesses at the scene reported seeing an unidentified black male suspect fleeing the scene on foot heading westbound on Banks Street following the altercation. The authorities have not yet publicly disclosed a motive for the stabbing, nor have they announced any arrests related to the case, as detailed by the City of Houston News.
