
Houston Police Department is actively investigating a shooting that ended fatally on Orville Street late Sunday evening. A 21-year-old man, whose identity remains undisclosed pending verification, was found shot multiple times around 11:10 p.m., as confirmed by city authorities. Houston police stated that when officers arrived at the 7100 block of Orville Street, they discovered the victim unresponsive on the pavement, as reported by the City of Houston.
Paramedics from the Houston Fire Department were dispatched to the scene and urgently transported the man to Ben Taub General Hospital. Unfortunately, the victim was pronounced deceased at the medical facility. Detectives J. Diaz and A. Hernandez of the HPD Homicide Division are leading the inquiry into the circumstances of the shooting. A description of a suspect has been sparse, with authorities identifying the individual only as a black male.
