
The Houston Police Department has issued a public appeal for assistance in identifying two suspects linked to a recent robbery at a local shoe store. According to a report published by the Houston Police Department's Robbery Division, the incident occurred on May 24, when two men allegedly shoplifted multiple boxes of shoes and used force against an employee.
The confrontation took place at approximately 1:00 pm within a store situated at the 5300 block of W. 34th Street in Houston. An employee, who reportedly recognized one of the individuals from prior incidents, was shoved aside forcibly as the two suspects fled with the stolen merchandise. One of the men was described as a Black male donning a red shirt and multicolored shorts, with the second suspect also being a Black male, wearing a black shirt and blue pants.
Authorities have urged anyone with information to reach out directly to Crime Stoppers of Houston. Information that leads to the charging and/or arrest of the suspects may fetch a cash reward of up to $5,000. Crime Stoppers have actively coordinated with local law enforcement to circulate the suspect descriptions and facilitate the investigative process.
