Houston authorities are currently searching for a suspect tied to a shooting in June, and they're reaching out for assistance. The incident, leaving one man critically wounded, took place at a business located at 9418 Almeda Genoa Road on the evening of June 23. Investigators have released a surveillance photo of a man identified as the suspect in the case.
The Houston Police Department Major Assaults & Family Violence Division identified the victim as a 45-year-old male who received multiple gunshot wounds that evening. Struggling for his life, the victim was rapidly transported to an area hospital by paramedics. Described solely as a black male with locks, the suspect's image has been publicly circulated to capture him. According to the City of Houston, detectives R. Cook and K. Vu reported that the suspect opened fire on the victim as he attempted to enter his vehicle and subsequently fled on foot.
