Agitation on the road escalated into a dangerous confrontation last week when a road rage incident prompted the arrest of a woman for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. The Harris County Constable's Office responded to the scene at the 1100 block of N Sam Houston Pkwy East on August 22, where it was reported that a female suspect had pointed and discharged a firearm, according to Constable Mark Herman's Office's Facebook post.
The situation unfolded as deputies arrived to find the complainant alleging that, during the heat of a road rage episode, the woman, later identified as Kalean Strahan, pointed a gun at him and fired a round into the air. In the rapidly evolving investigation, deputies were quickly able to track down Strahan, who also had the firearm in her possession.
"Kalean Strahan was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon. Her bond was set at $20,000.00 out of the 184th District Court." as stated by Constable Mark Herman in a Facebook post.
