St. Louis Park residents should prepare for some construction-related inconveniences as CenterPoint Energy commences natural gas line replacements in the area. According to a recent update, the work is scheduled to start in the week of Tuesday, September 3, and will focus on replacing the natural gas main beneath the roads on the west side of Jordan Avenue S. and along the north side of 28th Street W., stretching from Cedar Lake Road up to the dead end of 28th Street W, as reported by CenterPoint Energy Minnesota.
The necessary work, carried out by Michels, who is the authorized contractor for CenterPoint Energy, is expected to span approximately one week. During this time, parking will be restricted on both sides of 28th Street W., potentially causing challenges for residents and visitors to the area. As the construction could interrupt daily routines, community members are advised to plan their parking needs.
