
An investigation commenced after a series of vehicles, including police SUVs, erupted in flames outside of the McKeesport police station early Wednesday morning. The fires began just before 3:15 a.m., prompting police officers and firefighters to respond to the scene located in a parking lot off Lysle Boulevard utilized for city and police vehicles, as reported by CBS News.
Evidence gathering was conducted by the ATF and Allegheny County Fire Marshal's office, investigating a potential cause at the scene where vehicles burnt out, as detailed by WTAE.
