Constable Mark Herman announced the arrest of two juvenile suspects in connection with a burglary in the Harris County area. The incident occurred on the 23100 block of Banquo Drive last Thursday. Deputies arrived at the scene to find that a local business had been broken into, and the perpetrators had taken off on foot. Following an investigation, the deputies located the suspects near the crime scene, in a press release posted on their Facebook page.
The accused, ages 14 and 15, were not new to law enforcement, as further investigation revealed they had previously burglarized the same building. The juveniles were apprehended and are now facing charges. "Both juveniles suspects were arrested and booked into the Harris County Juvenile Detention Center, charged with Burglary to a Building," Constable Mark Herman stated in the press release.
The names of the young suspects have not been released, considering their age and the policies surrounding juvenile offenders. The Constable's office has not provided further details about the nature of the stolen property, or the condition of the building post-burglary. The suspects, currently held at the Harris County Juvenile Detention Center, await further legal proceedings pertaining to the burglary charges.
