The incident occurred just before 7:45 a.m. at the intersection of Wallace Avenue and Swissvale Avenue, an area now marked by the scorch of calamity. According to WPXI, the Allegheny County Police Department (ACPD) was notified of the crash after 7:20 a.m., when they discovered the vehicle had struck a utility pole and burst into flames.
Upon their arrival, first responders found two juvenile males - the driver was pronounced dead at the scene, while the passenger was in stable condition.
