The Keller Planning & Zoning Commission is gearing up to hold two significant public hearings on Tuesday, September 10, which could lead to changes within the community. The meeting, slated to take place at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers of Keller Town Hall, will address zoning and permit requests about Beverly Grove and Houghton Horns, respectively.
The first item on the agenda is a proposed amendment for Beverly Grove, located at the southeast corner of Rapp Road and Rufe Snow Drive. Spanning around 11.79 acres, this modification, represented by Bo Trainor and owned by Sunrise Partners LLC, seeks to alter the existing PD 2039-Single Family Residential-8,400 square foot minimum zoning. According to the City of Keller, the development in question includes several lots within Blocks A, 2, and 3 of the Beverly Grove Addition. A detailed map can be also downloaded to provide residents with a clearer visualization of the proposed changes.
The second public hearing will discuss the application by Houghton Horns LLC to operate an Entertainment Facility, either indoor or outdoor, within an existing building located at 137 Hill Street. The structure, encapsulated within 0.59 acres of the Lucas & Thompson Addition, formerly accommodated different semi-public functions and is strategically positioned between Taylor Street and Hill Street in the Old Town Keller. Houghton Horns, both the applicant and current owner of the establishment, has their details and a map of the exact location available for those interested.
Residents who wish to gather further insights or voice their opinions regarding these proposals can attend the meeting in person or review the complete agenda, which will be posted on Thursday, September 5.
