In what they've dubbed their "largest investment" in the 13-year history of the event, the iconic amusement park is adding an all-new immersive Rudolph experience that will undoubtedly tug at the nostalgic heartstrings of every boomer and their kin, as reported by CBS News.
Kicking off on November 15, this seasonal jamboree has been a fan favorite for over a decade, and this year it's even been voted the nation's ninth-best theme park holiday event, making it clear that Kennywood is not just playing reindeer games with this expansion, despite the balmy heat at the time of their announcement, guests can expect cooler times come winter with characters such as Rudolph, Bumble, Clarice, and Sam the Snowman ready for selfies and hugs, according to WPXI.
"This year’s Holiday Lights will showcase the largest investment the park has ever made in this beloved event in 13 years, making Kennywood the perfect place to create cherished holiday memories this year," General Manager Rick Spicuzza stated, as per WPXI, ensuring that the allure of yuletide joy isn't just about the sparkly lights but also about the warmth of creating lasting memories, thus Kennywood is banking on adding more fervor to their festive lineup with a trumpet of new entertainments, more jolly decorations, and the added bonus of extended event dates offering a lengthier seasonal escapade than ever before.
