The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) has issued an Endangered Child Alert concerning three Knoxville children who have been missing since July 16. According to WSMV, the children are 12-year-old Aki-Bakari Warren, 8-year-old Amena Hood, and 5-year-old Amirr Warren. Early Friday morning, an alert shared that they were believed to be in the company of their non-custodial father, Aki Warren, a 43-year-old male.

The TBI and the Knoxville Police Department are diligently working to locate the children, having been unsuccessful in their efforts to contact the father. Authorities say the last known contact with the children was over a month ago, as reported by WBIR. The specifics of Aki-Bakari, Amena, and Amirr's appearances, including their height and eye and hair color, have been provided to aid in their search, while a photo of Amirr has not been made available.

In the descriptions provided, the TBI indicates that Aki-Bakari stands at 5 feet, 1 inch tall, Amena at 4 feet, 11 inches, and Amirr at 3 feet, 8 inches. They all have brown eyes and black hair. Aki Warren, the non-custodial father, is described as being 6 feet, 2 inches tall, 250 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. WATE echoed these descriptions in their coverage of the issued alert.

The public is urgently requested by authorities to aid in the search; anyone with information about the children's whereabouts, or who has seen them, is encouraged to contact the Knoxville Police Department at 865-215-7165 or the TBI at 1-800-TBI-FIND. “Efforts to contact Warren have been unsuccessful,” the TBI said, expressing the ongoing challenge the investigation faces.
