The Euless Family Life Aquatic Park is set to bid its seasonal swimmers adieu after Labor Day. As the sun sets in the summer of '24, this weekend offers the final splash for those looking to beat the heat in style—one last hoorah at your favorite local watery oasis, according to the City of Euless.
For those with plans to bask in the end-of-season vibes, the Aquatic Park is rolling out its lounge chairs and flinging open its gates for an extended Labor Day weekend schedule. The park promises to cater to all your chill and thrill needs from noon to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, August 31 and September 1, and from noon to 6:00 p.m. on Monday, September 2. But do keep your eyes peeled, as these hours are subject to change, as per the City of Euless.
With a veritable smorgasbord of aquatic activities, the park is designed to entertain every member of your clan. Kids and kids-at-heart can make a beeline to the water playground or test their agility on the lily pad walk. If speed is your adrenaline, take a swoosh down the flume slides or relax with a lazy float down the river that, reportedly, epitomizes the word lazy. For the relaxation-inclined, a squadron of lounge chairs awaits to offer you a serene poolside respite.
On the flip side of the summer closure, remember that the Euless Family Life Center houses the Natatorium, an indoor pool that keeps swimmers in strokes all year round. Open throughout the seasons, this temperature-controlled facility offers everything from recreational swims to exercise classes, and it churns out swim lessons for aquatic rookies.
