LoneStar Electric Vibes Festival to Light Up Sugar Land with Star-Studded DJ Lineup in October

Constellation Field in Sugar Land is preparing to pulsate with the beats of electronic dance music as the LoneStar Electric Vibes festival announces its intentions to stake a claim in the Houston area's bustling festival calendar. Set for October 26, the event is being heralded as a 12-hour immersive experience courtesy of Hispanika Group, with a lineup of DJs that promises to pull EDM aficionados in droves. The Houston Chronicle reports that so far, heavyweights like Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, Paul Oakenfold, and Sak Noel are slated to grace the decks, with a crowd exceeding 10,000 expected to attend.

In a move to accommodate what is structured as an all-day-and-night affair, Sugar Land's city council has assented to a request by Hispanika Group, for an extended curfew allowing the festivities to continue until midnight. Alison Brooks, the tourism administrator for the city of Sugar Land, stated in a statement obtained by The Houston Chronicle that in spite of the extended hours, "all regulations regarding decibel readings will still be enforced." 

Hispanika Entertainment appears at the helm of the planning, a company that, despite a lack of prolific online presence, espouses grand visions for the festival's future. Chron.com reveals that the group aims for a marked expansion; it's a five-year plan they are orchestrating, set on escalating the festival from a one-day event to a three-day extravaganza, hoping to swell the ranks of attendees from ten to fifty thousand.

Early birds looking to secure their spot at the event can snag tickets at a reduced price, with general access field tickets on offer for $79 until the lineup release on August 8, when the cost will ascend to $94. By September 27, the price rises again to $105, although high-rollers might opt for the $300 VIP passes for premium festival privileges. Chron.com provides the details; however, those under 17 will need to be guided by an adult over 21 years old holding a ticket to gain entrance.

The entrance of LoneStar Electric Vibes into Sugar Land's event scene comes as the suburb becomes increasingly recognized as a cultural hotspot. The city has played host to varied festivals, from the culinary delights of HoneyLand in 2023 to the rhythmic allure of Sweet Beats Music Festival and the Sugar Land Jazz Fest.
