
Gunfire erupted late last night in Baltimore's Northwest District, leaving one man critically injured. The Baltimore Police Department confirmed officers were dispatched to the 4100 block of Patterson Avenue at approximately 10:06 p.m. following a report of a shooting.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers found an unidentified male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. With the urgency required by the grim silence of the aftermath, he was promptly transported to an area hospital for medical attention.
The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting is now being led by Northwest District Shooting detectives, as per a statement from the department. At this juncture, details about possible suspects or motives remain scarce.
