
Early Sunday morning, a man was discovered with multiple gunshot wounds in the Homestead area of Allegheny County. The shooting incident has left the victim fighting for his life in a local hospital. According to a report by WPXI, authorities were called to the 1100 block of Sylvan Avenue around 2:20 a.m. after dispatchers received a 911 call regarding the shooting.
Upon responding to the scene, emergency services rushed to locate and provide aid to the man who had been shot numerous times. CBS Pittsburgh has confirmed that the victim was quickly taken to a nearby hospital where he remains in critical condition. The Allegheny County Police Homicide Unit's detectives are now actively investigating the violent incident, to thoroughly try and piece together the events that culminated in this grave assault.
