A fatal shooting at an east Austin apartment complex has claimed the life of a man, as the Austin Police Department confirmed on Monday. The incident occurred at the Waterloo Flats, situated at 1300 S Pleasant Valley Road. According to KXAN, APD Sergeant Lee Knouse stated that the emergency call came in around 2:08 p.m., with police, EMS, and fire services responding to the scene.
Upon arrival, first responders found a Hispanic male in his 40s with gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of the Austin-Travis County EMS to administer life-saving measures, the victim was pronounced dead at 2:24 p.m., reported CBS Austin. In additional comments, Sgt.
