Today, a man was shot multiple times on Reuben White Drive in Crosby, necessitating a Life Flight to a nearby hospital. The call came to the Harris County Sheriff's Office (HSCO) around 1:43 a.m., and upon arrival, deputies found the victim in the street with wounds in his arm, stomach, and leg. According to the CW39 news report, the injured man is expected to survive despite being in serious condition.
As the investigation unfolds, the HSCO is urgently trying to piece together events leading up to the shooting. The situation was first made public via a post from Sheriff Ed Gonzalez of @HCSOTexas: "deputies responded to a shooting at the 100 blk of Reuben White. Deputies located one adult male, shot multiple times. The male was transported via Lifeflight, in unknown condition. Investigators are enroute to the scene." At this point, little is known about the motive or identity of the suspect.
