An intense manhunt is underway in Sanford, where law enforcement is actively searching for an Orlando man accused of an early morning shooting that left two people injured. The incident, which occurred around 7:30 a.m. at an apartment complex on Barewood Lane, resulted in Lakechia Jackson and James Williams sustaining gunshot wounds and being transported for medical treatment, as reported by WESH.
Sanford police have identified 51-year-old Santana Sutton as the suspect, and authorities from the Sanford Police Department and the Seminole County Sheriff's Office have joined forces in the search. According to a report by FOX 35 Orlando, during an altercation that possibly involved personal connections, Sutton showed up at Jackson's apartment Saturday when the shooting took place.
