Residents of the 13300 block of Lynville Drive found themselves at the center of a law enforcement operation on Tuesday after deputies responded to reports of a possible stolen vehicle. The vehicle, located in a driveway, was soon abandoned by the driver who fled on foot into White Oak Bayou, according to the office of Constable Mark Herman. Despite efforts to secure the area, the suspect, identified as Dennis Kelton, managed to narrowly avoid capture.

Authorities quickly investigated and identified Kelton, who has a criminal record and an outstanding felony warrant for aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon. Law enforcement is warning the public about the dangers of Kelton being on the loose.

In an effort to solicit the public's assistance, Constable Mark Herman took to social media. “Kelton Dennis is currently wanted by law enforcement for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, Evading Arrest and Aggravated Robbery. His bond has not been set out of the 230th District Court. If you have information regarding his whereabouts, you are urged to contact our dispatch or your local law enforcement," stated a Facebook post from the office of Constable Mark Herman.
