Officials from the Metropolitan Police Department are reaching out to locals for aid in capturing two individuals connected to a commercial burglary in Northwest Washington. The incident, which involved the theft of property, occurred earlier today.
The burglary was reported to have taken place yesterday, at about 3:50 a.m. in the 7800 block of Alaska Avenue. According to MPD's statement, the suspects gained entry into a vacant establishment and removed items before making their escape.
MPD has not yet released descriptions of the suspects or a detailed list of the stolen items. However, they are combing through surveillance footage and canvassing the area in hopes of finding leads that could result in the arrest and charges against the perpetrators.
