
The search for 17-year-old Anthony Valladares, who had been reported missing since July 23, came to a tragic end when his body was found on the side of Highway 52 South in Wadesboro. According to information obtained by QC News, the Wadesboro Police Department discovered the body near Old Lilesville Road on July 26.
After preliminary investigations, authorities reported they believed Valladares to be a victim of a hit-and-run incident. The NC State Highway Patrol has taken over the case, as noted in details from WBTV. The young man was last seen riding his bike in the Old Lilesville Road area.
As the investigation proceeds, the authorities have yet to identify the driver involved in the collision that is presumed to have ended Valladares's life.
