Modesto police are in search of three suspects following a traumatic home invasion that occurred on Tuesday morning. Three men, said to be dressed in construction-style attire, broke into a residence in the vicinity of McClure Road and Clogston Way. According to the Modesto Police Department, the situation was urgently reported by a 13-year-old who was at home taking care of a younger sibling. The distressing event unfolded around 8 a.m., with the teen initiating the 911 call during the actual home invasion before finding a place to hide with the sibling, ABC 10 reported.

Detailed accounts from the homeowner highlight an even more harrowing experience for the children, as surveillance footage captured a man forcefully breaking the front door open. The homeowner revealed to KCRA 3 that the intruders quickly located and held the teenager at gunpoint, demanding to know where the safe was.
