
The Metropolitan Police Department is on the lookout for a suspect involved in an armed robbery that occurred in Northwest DC earlier this month. According to the Metropolitan Police Department, two individuals armed with guns approached and subsequently robbed a man on the 2200 block of 18th Street NW on August 16, around 2:48 p.m. The suspects made off with the victim's property and then fled the scene without causing physical harm to the victim.
Police authorities are now turning to the community for assistance in tracking down the suspects involved in this crime. The MPD urges anyone with information about this case to come forward, making clear the importance of community engagement in solving such crimes. The department has announced a reward of up to $10,000 to whoever provides intel that directly leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for this violent incident.
